Return to Dark Castle is Out now! Go nab it on Steam or Mac App Store!

 

For those that haven't visited in a while, "Hello!" for those interested in why I am E-Mailing everyone on the forum - Return to Dark Castle has launched on Steam and the Mac App Store, and now plays on modern OSX, Windows and SteamOS (So yeah, you can play it on Steamdeck!)

Not only that, but Mark Stephen Pierce has returned to Dark Castle, making a new Dark Castle game, Dark Castle 4: Revenant, which is in development! Exciting times!

The level editor for the new version should be out this year, and re-releases of the original Dark Castle and Beyond Dark Castle is also planned.

Return to Dark Castle re-launches March 3rd, 2026!

 

Yep, you heard it here first, or maybe second, or third... It doesn't matter, but Return to Dark Castle will be relaunching on March 3rd, 2026. It will be available day 1 on Steam, and the Mac App Store. This time it will be available on Mac, Windows and SteamOS (Compatible with the Steamdeck day 1).
